Fanime 2008 Ends

What did you do?: just came back from fanime
And so, Fanime 2008 Ends. I'm totally tired. Will report events when i'm sane enough after regaining more sleep. Also pictures :)

Friend Leaving
Today's Wish: That I finish my cosplay in time
Current Music on the Head: Tattoo Kiss
Food in thought: Citrus Squeeze
What did you do?: went to the library, had a haircut, worked on my cosplay a little more.
Hmm hmm so yeah, a friend of mine, a co-worker left from work because she got a better job. So yeah I'm a little sad that we will not be able to see each other more often then we used to. She was soo nice, and she had good humor that makes me laugh au naturale :)
We had a party to celebrate on her new job and we went and ate in the Paragon.
It had the best dessert i've laid my eyes upon, the Paragon Chip-wich. Its definitely love at first sight as it had a simple design but absolutely sweet taste. Okay, imagine vanilla ice cream sandwiched between choco chip cookie and it has a chocolate syrup dip. Hmm really heavenly, can't compare to dreyer's 5$ rocky road favorite, but yeah its pricey for the taste, 8.50$ with tips to boot. I'd definitely go there again if i get the pocket money ^^
Annnnnnnnndd so Fanime's coming up this friday, i'm definitely pretty excited and nervous and anxious. It will be a first of everything for me. First time to cosplay, first time to use the artist alley and so on and so forth.
If any of you are in the san jose area and want to check out the event called FanimeCon, it has day passes for you to check what are the things offered inside. I know ill have a lot <3 <3 Will post pictures later of my progress in my cosplay ;)

Mom's day for Grandma
Today's Wish: That we get good sleep :D

What did you do?: Stayed At home, visited the library, played video games
Last Week, I've borrowed a lot of DVD of Master Keaton in the Library, this particular anime that we were watching intrigued my dad it seems because he actaully copied it for his zen to watch. Really interesting, now if only I make Anime as his hobby, it will become paradise XDD
Really awesome Anime, a recommended for ages 14 and above :D
Yesterday me and my relatives got together to celebrate an early Mother's Day for grandma. Fairfield really is an awesome place to shop, however we only went there to eat lunch at the California Pizza Kitchen. Its really awesome how you can actually see the chefs and cooks and waiters and waitresses see what they're doing in the open. Their pizza's are unique and offer a lot of variations of pasta and pizza, kid sized or adult sized. They have a slightly dim-lit atmosphere, and the service is very accomodating :)
Speaking of which one of the days in the week I visited Specialty's. It seems this is a modernized self-service restaurant. They serve fresh coffee cakes and cookies and breads, and offer an affordable array of salads, soups and sandwiches to choose from. We just go in line and we pick what we want and pay, then they let us have a pager and we wait it out. Another service I was able to notice is that they have an online lunch service as well, really really awesome. You go to their website, order what you want online, pick it up hot and ready in cabinet full of shelves listed from A-Z. I wonder if they have such technology in a restaurant in Philippines? It would be nice if I introduced it to my professors back in UST, they would be surprised :D
Aaaand for my Ninja Cosplay. Its not fully finished, however I'm at around 80% now :D I just need to sew the buttons and trimmings :D and almost forgot the Scarf for the Ninja.
Can't wait to get my own Apple book. I'd love to get my hands on the current artworks of my favorite Korean artists. They're very influential to my art improvement :)
That's it for now. Fanime's getting closer, and I'm getting both nervous and giddy, really. I'm going to do my first cosplay there, going to do my first Artist Alley table there and I'm going to make sure I'm going to have lots and lots of fun <3 see you ^__^

What did you do?:Finished work, and got to watch Iron Man at the opening.

Phew~! I'm pretty pretty pooped, i played PIU (pump it up dance arcade game) then ate one slice of pizza and grabbed my favorite beverage, orangre-strawberry chiller.

AAAAaaaaaaaaaaand the day after that will be San Jose's Nikkei Matsuri Festival! Food! Taiko! Japanese Displays!! and Japanese games!! yay yay yay!!
