Happy BAAUloween!!

Today's Wish: Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep…..
Current Music on the Head: Nervous Breakdown – Abingdon Boys School

Food in thought: No Clue :Y
What did you do?: Just got back home from BAAUloween, Shocktv3 helped us book a nice hotel room the day before to celebrate hallow’s eve with the gang,

I.Am.Terribly.Sleepy.

Seriously, I still feel like I didn’t get enough sleep. I already took 2 naps after I got home today. Hojo, Huangy, thanks for the lift, I enjoyed BAAUloween even though I didn’t feel comfortable in my old ninja cosplay :x and I got you guys frustrated because I couldn’t take the walk.

Once again, belated birthday to you dear Sarah, i hope you enjoyed your party :D Thanks for teaching me how to play Hana-fuda.

Lol, it was fun inside the hotel room XD packing more then 10 people and just playing fun and eating were just enjoyable to watch.

Around this time, is also a time to remember one particular loved one, whose birthday is more often observed today rather then tomorrow. Mom, rest in peace :D we’re trying our best to survive here.

Until then keep smiling ^_^ share the love and candy.

APE!

Today's Wish:  To finish unfinished things….
Current Music on the Head:

Food in thought: Kalbi
What did you do?: Today? just work. I feel exhausted.

And old friend offered me a job for a free badge at Alternative Press Expo, or more commonly known as APE. All I needed to do was draw and help promote Deleter Products. Why not? I’ve used their markers before, and it will be fun.

My dad however, wasn’t so keen to let me go and walk to the convention from the Bart. So, I opted in dragging along my younger brother, who is taller and larger then I am. He got in too, but he had to work by helping sell the products.

It was fun playing with more colors :D I did some works, helped welcome people, let them test the markers and pens, gave advice when I could. All good fun.

I introduced myself to the guy running the table for the Center for Cartoon Studies, I forgot his name but he let me read his comic..It wasn’t my cup of tea. So when the question came from him if I liked it was silence…and I hopefully didn’t offend him.  He did tell me they were real life stories and that was kewl of him to travel around learning about the stories and letting people know about them.

Checked out the booths and they are awesome :D everyone seemed to have worked hard, I would looove to buy that boobie mousepad 8D that was rocking funny. Awesome figurines, the the dots dots dots booth have an awesome concept of putting beads and melting them together to form your 8-bit or 32-bit video game characters. Some BAAU friends also had a booth, checked them out ^^

After Saturday con, me and my brother walked towards Ellis Street through Hyde and 8th Street to get to the San Francisco City Hostel. I didn’t know what a Hostel was until I got there. There were house rules, food is only allowed within the lounge and dining areas, courtesy hours is at 11pm, when you cook and use their utensils, you’re required to clean up yourselves, and breakfast is 7:30.
Funny part was me and my brother got separated because dorms are made for female only or male only and we both got top bunks. Being a fat girl and all, I was like OMgawwd :O and I met a strange lady that will be sleeping in the bed beneath me. She was weeeird, all she said that I should put my head alongtop of hers because she doesn’t want feet on top of her. I was like o_O? and just said okay, and she just left. Later in the evening after eating dinner and feeling sleepy, i decided to head back to my room, and I was setting the sheets on my bed-thing when the two German siblings arrived. They were suuper good at english and they were nice ^^. They told me that the previous night that the strange lady sleeps weird, like she was awake the entire time. Aaanyways, i was tossing left and right once in a while, I might have disturbed that lady beneath me, she seemed to not have slept one of the German girls hand-signed to me, because she kept on going in and out of the room from the hallway. that was…disturbing because we all get light flooded to our faces >< oh well. I got to know Mr Bunk Bed more, because before those girls arrived I tried out if I could climb, no prob, but going down….took me a while and when i finally gathered courage, it got me me briused because I thought I wasn’t too high anymore. Thought not.

Another thing i learned from Downtown SF, Bums. They are scary, stay away from them as much as possible. Be nice and they will take advantage of you, really. I was being nice with a burger and got forced to buy him a triple stack whopper meal, wtf? He gets a full meal while me and my brother settled just for a whopper sandwich, how ironic was that?

And It seems that on sundays they have a Farmers market in the Civic Center Station. Awesome!! We got great tasting barbecue flavored pistachios!!

I had an awesome adventure. Gained more insight and experience in travelling as well as staying in a hostel. All in all a great weekend. Keep smiling ^__^
