What did you do?: Work, Ate dinner with co-workers

I was surprised to get a small package when i arrived home from dinner out with co-workers. I opened it up and inside was the Limited Edition Zelda :Phantom Hourglass Feather Stylus.
I thought i would get it in the next 4 weeks, since I personally answered their survey last week. And its plastic clear!! its awesome!! Here's some pics

Damn, its soo pretty!!!

Anyways, yeah I'm just working and working. I kinda realized that this is all what adults do, and I'm just breaching just a bit of experience in the of an adult. I discovered that lunches with people are more fun then eating alone in the cafe. I am very thankful to have nice co-workers while working. I know sometime i weird them out @_@;; too much anime in me, sad to say, as my imagination seems to run wild 24/7

By the way, Fanime is one month away, and as i've mentioned before in my
DeviantART Journal, I'm intending to cosplay as a ninja. HOWEVER, I havent even started it, very very sad to mention that my laziness has gotten to me a thousand times. Plus the fact that I am also working on my brother's Red-Haired Shanks cape for his cosplay. I am 65% done with it and here are some shots I took while it was on its 25% stage.

Hopefully I finish this damned cape this weekend and finally start on my Kimono, I have so many things to sew!!

Aaaand.. progress on my illustration...not yet done sadly....

Until I post again, keep smiling =3

Time and Space
Today's Wish: Life to be Simpler
Current Music on the Head: Sunday- Yakitatte!! Japan!
Food in thought: Mushroom Tempura
What did you do?: library, ate out, watched movies

Every once in a while, I end up in a reflective/speculative mood. Today is probably one of those days. Now when we talk about Time and Space, first thing that pops into my mind is Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl, because of the game's theme.

Anyways, I've been thinking, every single day, I work, I live my life. However, now that I'm a grown person, it happens that you never get the time you used to have when you are young. That's what I've been thinking, but back then I couldn't buy all the manga I wanted, all the magazines I wanted, and everything else a teen or child would have wanted. Now, I could and I have been purchasing things, often in just because of my whims and such urges that you gotta buy it because next time you see it, it will no longer be there. All wants and needs satisfied just because they can be purchased now that I can work. The downside to this is, that you never get to use the purchased product in its entirety, cannot be enjoyed in the full. A quick browse of this 15$ magazine and then you're done, its hidden under your bed, considered as your prized collection, never fully able to acquire all the wealth of knowledge inside because you have to go run and finish some sort of chore, or more like responsibility.

In realization, our lives when we were young, are cherished moments. One should live it to the full, before one enters the world of adults, full of problems, responsibility, and simply put by what adults mostly say for children, that they "Grew-Up" from such childish likes and dislikes. As for me, such childish activities lowered it seems, however I still enjoy it, and still try to.

But life here seems so fast-paced. A day at work, home, then sleep. It all seems a monotonous life. Perhaps, we all need to slow down once in a while, bring friends and family together, have a day where we all feel like children enjoying what we love most, games, movies, anime, going out to play, whatever suits the person's preference. It is in my opinion though that this will rarely happen, as we are all worked up trying to face the future, the technology and improvement in life. Maybe that was where we lost our longevity, we all work ourselves more then half of a person's lifetime, with no fond memories to ponder upon. And when we look back on what we've done, all those achievements, sometimes you get to think if they were all worth it, as you only remember a few of all the things you've done in your life, mostly just the more memorable things one has gone through.

So, I want to ask you now, what did you do this day to make it memorable?
