So, I attended this workshop on how to create a good story, how to submit a proposal comic to an editor and observed Ethan Nicole’s comic processes. Alongside with learning these things, Dan Vado of SLG Publishing looked at everyone’s portfolios. He looked at my not-so-professional portfolio and gave me some points to think about in improving my art, whether be illustrations or comics.  He pointed out that I needed to add lineweight to more of my works, they all looked the same to him, as well as to learn how to do backgrounds, as apparently my folio is full of just characters with no backgrounds.

So I have a new insight on myself on what is in need of improvement, which i will practice for and eventually become a well-rounded artist.

Dirty Jobs

I’ve been fascinated as to why YiLee of TatoomCity likes Mike Rowe, so lately i’ve netflixed most of his Dirty Jobs series, and I do admit, I am enjoying watching him do his dirty job with his humor and antics.

I just recently went and signed up for Twitter to follow people. I’m not so sure if I will be using the feature myself, but its worth a try, now if I don’t forget my password…. its so hard these days especially you have to log into every single social or tech site.
